Under Armour has reportedly named rapper Gunna as the brand's global ambassador and creative director of P-Star, according to WWD. The collection, created earlier this year in partnership with the artist, is set to be unveiled on Thursday and includes 14 apparel and footwear pieces.
Gunna and Under Armour have been working together for a year. According to the brand, the rapper has trained almost every day over the past two years and developed the Wunna Run, a running club that today reportedly brings together thousands of participants across several cities.
Kevin Plank, founder and chief executive officer of Under Armour, commented on the collaboration, according to WWD.
The brand plans to extend this partnership in early 2027 with a capsule collection dedicated to the Wunna Run, followed later in the year by P-Star Lux, a premium apparel offering.
