Mane Group is said to have acquired Cvista, a supplier based in Riverview, Floride, specialised in citrus oil fractions and natural essences, according to Industries Cosmétiques and Cosmetics Business. The two sources agree on the deal, but the financial terms of the sale have not been disclosed.

Founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Hadi Lashkajani, Cvista built a recognised expertise in processing citrus oils and producing high value-added natural ingredients. The company brings purification and fractionation processes capable of isolating trace compounds such as valencene, decanal and nootkatone, advanced capabilities that allow the isolation and valorisation of molecules present in very small quantities.

L'opération incorporates Cvista's teams and industrial facilities into Mane's operations. The group will also create a « Citrus and Beverage Center of Excellence » in the États-Unis, described as a dedicated industrial campus designed to advance research.

A catalyst for beverages

« Cette acquisition est un catalyseur stratégique pour la croissance de Mane dans les agrumes, en particulier pour le secteur des boissons », says Samantha Mane, president of Mane Group. She describes Cvista as « un leader reconnu capable de transformer des matières premières naturelles en ingrédients à forte valeur ajoutée ».

Mane Group also says it is pleased to welcome the Cvista team, combining their capabilities and shared commitment to sensory excellence. L'accord is said, according to Cosmetics Business, to have deepened the group's scientific understanding of the perception of smells, tastes and sensations such as freshness and spiciness.

Suites opérationnelles

The immediate industrial goal is to accelerate the development of citrus-derived materials for formulators and perfumers. The US capacity increase should also support joint developments already underway, notably the partnership with Arzeda for the production and commercialisation of the « ViaLeaf Reb M » technology, described as an opportunity to combine know-how for the functional and reduced-sugar beverage markets.

L'acquisition is part of a broader trajectory for Mane Group, which had acquired the Belgian biotech company Chemosensoryx Biosciences in January 2026 to accelerate its sensory innovation.
