According to WWD, Sarah Burton brought together several of her runway models, Eva Herzigova, Kaia Gerber, Nyaduola Gabriel and Liu Wen, for a photo shoot on Croatia's wild, rocky coastline, amid stone beaches, concrete walkways, coves and makeshift outdoor showers.
Herzigova wears sexy swimsuits paired with black leather thigh-high boots with gold hardware, while Gerber holds a Pinch bag from the house and wears oversized sunglasses. The campaign also showcases a calfskin leather shirt and the embroidered, torn and fringed floral dress that stood out at Givenchy's autumn show.
French writer and lawyer Constance Debré, described by the house as part of Burton's « famille élargie », also took part in the show and wears the designer's masculine tailoring in the campaign. Stylist Camilla Nickerson oversaw the campaign, with make-up by Daniel Sällström and hair by Kei Terada.
Burton says that everything she designs at Givenchy aims to celebrate the reality and radiance of all women. WWD, for its part, praises a broader stylistic opening, with the British designer « letting loose with menswear fabrics, velvet, animal prints, kimono silks, lace, silver bullion and wild furry textures — orchestrating it all with a sure hand. »
This choice of an outdoor shoot, in a raw setting, is part of a broader trend among autumn 2026 campaigns, which increasingly favour shoots in wild terrain.
