Dior is said to have opened a new Monsieur Dior restaurant within its Milan flagship, according to Journal du Luxe. L'établissement, entrusted to chef Enrico Bartolini, is located within the House of Dior, via Monte Napoleone 12, in Milan.

This address would be the first Monsieur Dior restaurant in Europe outside France. The House of Dior via Monte Napoleone was inaugurated on 18 September, after two years of work. The venue spans three levels and brings together under one roof the Maison's fashion, lifestyle, jewellery, beauty and fragrance universes.

A chef with 14 Michelin stars
Enrico Bartolini, who is said to hold 14 Michelin stars, reportedly built the restaurant's menu by drawing on the archives of Dior's Paris headquarters, seeking to translate colours, materials and silhouettes onto the plate. L'ouverture in Milan reportedly came three months after the inauguration of the second Monsieur Dior restaurant in France, according to Journal du Luxe.

The Monsieur Dior concept is part of an already established network of restaurants. The first restaurant reportedly opened in 2022 within the Paris flagship on avenue Montaigne, now placed under the culinary direction of Yannick Alléno. Mauro Colagreco reportedly oversees a restaurant in Saint-Tropez, while a restaurant in Los Angeles is said to be entrusted to Dominique Crenn. Anne-Sophie Pic, for her part, is said to have signed two addresses, in Osaka and in Pékin.

Christian Dior reportedly died in 1957 in Montecatini, an Italian spa town he used to frequent.
