Alohas, a Barcelona-based brand specialising in footwear and accessories, is segmenting its offering with the creation of « For Him », a new section of its e-commerce platform bringing together all its models available in men's sizes, according to FashionUnited UK.

Founded in Barcelona around 2016 by entrepreneur Alejandro Porras, founder and chief executive of the brand, Alohas closed fiscal year 2025 with a 32% rise in revenue, reaching 45 million euros.

« Née comme une marque principalement destinée aux femmes, Alohas intègre désormais une sélection de modèles pour hommes et présente 'For Him', une nouvelle section de son site qui réunit ses styles disponibles en tailles masculines », indique the Spanish brand. Alohas states that it is not creating a separate men's collection, but is expanding its universe so that a growing selection of its models can also reach a male audience.

A profile outside traditional categories

According to the brand, maintaining a positioning outside traditional product categories has represented a significant obstacle, limiting its growth potential and its connection with its male customers. Alohas has in fact already abandoned its clothing line, a strategic decision aimed at affirming its specialisation in footwear and accessories.

The brand's model is based on production adjusted to demand, designed to limit the waste of resources and dormant stock, and on women's lines designed from the outset in a non-gendered logic.

Development of points of sale

Alohas currently has stores in Madrid, Barcelone, Milan, Amsterdam, New York (Elizabeth St and Bleecker St), Paris, Londres, Copenhague and Los Angeles, where it has been operating a pop-up since May, with no official closing date announced. These points of sale are designed as experiential spaces built on the made-to-order production model: customers try on the models there before receiving the product once it has been manufactured. The brand is due to open its first store in Autriche, in Vienne, this August.

Alohas plans to expand its « For Him » selection with new sneaker and moccasin models, which are meant to support its growth in men's footwear. The brand is also preparing the launch of a handbag line and the creation of a separate section for its « barefoot » models, two initiatives intended to affirm, in 2026, its profile as a specialist in footwear and accessories.
