Scalpers is reported to have taken a stake in Yuxus, a young fashion brand based in Madrid, according to FashionUnited UK. The amount of the deal and its financial terms have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2018 by Fernando Carrillo and brothers Álvaro and Guillermo Ferre, Yuxus started with 1,000 euros raised to launch its first batch of T-shirts. For more than five years, the brand operated exclusively online, without outside investors, prioritising revenue over profitability and reinvesting its resources into its own expansion.
Fernando Carrillo stepped down from management in March 2025, leaving the Ferre brothers in charge. In September, the company appointed Víctor Ariza as its first creative and design director, with whom it launched « Hongdae », its first signature collection, thereby beginning its transformation into a fashion house. Yuxus also broadened its audience with « For Her », its first line aimed at women, having until then only offered unisex styles.
A sharply rising commercial trajectory
Yuxus entered physical retail in September 2023 with a first store on rue Fuencarral in Madrid, followed by own stores in Valence and Séville, as well as corners at El Corte Inglés. At the time of the deal, the brand had more than half a million followers on social media, 14 points of sale and nearly 100 employees.

Its revenue rose from one million euros in 2022 to three million in 2023. L'entreprise had set itself a target of exceeding ten million euros in 2024 and aims to double sales in 2025, targeting in particular the États-Unis.
A streetwear foothold for Scalpers
Founded in Séville in 2007 as a menswear brand recognisable by its skull logo, Scalpers has diversified its offering with lines such as Scalpers Kids in 2012, Scalpers Woman in 2018 and a girls' line in 2019. The group also includes the Victoria brand by Vicky Martín Berrocal, the footwear brand Mim Shoes and the surf sportswear brand Deeply.
Scalpers closed 2024 with revenue of 220 million euros, up 10% year on year, across 370 points of sale spread over 11 countries. The group employs around 1,500 people and is targeting 300 million euros in sales for the current financial year.
According to FashionUnited UK, this investment gives Scalpers a foothold in the streetwear segment and a direct link to younger audiences, an area where Spanish brands stand out. The two groups are launching a joint expansion plan aimed at consolidating Yuxus in its current markets and extending it to new countries.
