Puma announced on Monday a reorganisation of its European leadership, according to FashionUnited France. As of 1 October, Fokko de Rooij will take up the post of General Manager Europe, replacing Javier Ortega, who left the group this month.

De Rooij is leaving Nike, where he held various management positions in EMEA, in Chine and at global level, before becoming vice president of EMEA sales. After leaving Nike, he worked as an independent consultant for executives in sport and fashion. At Puma, he will report to PDG Arthur Höld, who had been temporarily taking on the responsibilities of chief commercial officer in addition to his current duties; this position is expected to be filled at a later date.

Daniel Pustina becomes, with immediate effect, general manager of the Central cluster, succeeding Bas van den Bemt. He will oversee the DACH, Benelux, Eastern Europe and Ukraine markets, and will report to Fokko de Rooij. Christophe Cance (Sud cluster) and Lucynda Davies (Nord cluster) retain their roles and will also report to De Rooij.
