Marcolin and Marchon Eyewear, entities of the VSP Vision group, have announced new executive appointments aimed at establishing integrated leadership by geographic zone. The move is part of a broader integration process between the two organisations, according to the companies' statement.

Marco D'Acunzo, previously chief executive officer North America of Marcolin, becomes president eyewear Americas. A senior executive with more than 15 years of experience with premium brands in the automotive, sports and hospitality sectors, he will be responsible for the activities of Marcolin, Marchon, Altair and Allure, and will lead the development of the eyewear business in the États-Unis, Canada and Amérique latine.

Antonio Castiglione, currently general manager of Marcolin Mexico, is appointed managing director Latam, a region that includes Mexique, Brésil and Amérique du Sud for both Marcolin and Marchon Eyewear.

Ross Brownlee takes up his role on 1 September as president eyewear Emea & Apac, a newly created position to lead both regions as a single, fully integrated business unit. He previously served as chief executive officer of Hilco Vision, after holding several leadership positions in the sector.

Lorenzo Barberio, formerly head of sales Apac at Marcolin, is appointed managing director Apac of Marcolin and Marchon. With more than 20 years of international experience in luxury and fashion, he will lead the integrated organisation for the Asie-Pacifique region.

A goal of global consistency

According to the statement, the aim is to foster greater collaboration between the Marcolin and Marchon structures, speed up decision-making processes and ensure a consistent approach towards clients and partners worldwide. Nicola Zotta, president eyewear and managing director of Marcolin and Marchon Eyewear, said that « ces nominations représentent une étape importante dans l'évolution de notre organisation eyewear » (these appointments represent an important step in the evolution of our eyewear organisation).

Zotta also explained that adopting an increasingly integrated leadership model strengthens alignment between the different markets, accelerates the integration process and improves the group's ability to support its clients and brand partners around the world.

This process is gradually involving all of the company's functions, with a full unification of the two organisations planned for early 2027.
