Longchamp would organise the Longchamp Art Festival from 4 to 6 September 2026, in the Marais district in Paris, according to FashionUnited France. L'événement, dedicated to contemporary art, would bring together some thirty international artists working around a common theme, movement.
Artistic direction would be handled by Sophie Delafontaine, creative director of Longchamp, with curating entrusted to Olivier Bassuet, a curator and producer presented as her creative partner. The private preview, by invitation, would be held on 3 September 2026.
Ouverture to the public and free admission
The festival would then be open to the public from the afternoon of 4 September until 6 September 2026 inclusive, at 5 rue Saint-Merri, in the 4th arrondissement. L'entrée would be free, by registration.
This initiative would form part of a long-standing practice for the house, founded in 1948, which exhibits works from its own collection in its stores and premises, collaborates with artists and supports young talent. Longchamp had notably paid tribute to the artist Geneviève Claisse in 2025.
Reste that the details of the programme and the registration arrangements would only be communicated from 24 August 2026, according to the same source.
