The Los Angeles-based label L'Agence will present its spring/summer 2027 collection during Paris Fashion Week, a first for the brand, according to FashionUnited UK. L'événement, dedicated to women's ready-to-wear collections, will run from September 28 to October 6.
Founded in 2008 by Jeff Rudes, alongside Margaret Maldonado and retailer Ron Herman, the brand built its reputation on premium denim and washed silks blending California ease with Parisian sensibility. It started with a single boutique on Melrose Place before expanding to be distributed in around 300 to 450 specialty stores worldwide, with eight directly operated boutiques in cities such as Paris, Beverly Hills and Séoul.
L'Agence has also shaped its image around celebrities such as Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Lopez, Martha Stewart and Lindsay Lohan, who have contributed to its jet-set image. The brand has also staged shows in iconic New York venues, such as the New York Public Library and Grand Central Terminal.
Jeff Rudes, co-founder and creative director, said that presenting in Paris makes it possible to offer a collective experience to European, Asian and American guests, adding that « Paris is Paris ».
