Lacoste is said to have collaborated with waterproof clothing brand Mackintosh to create a new collection, according to Retail Gazette. L'ensemble reportedly comprises twelve garments, designed under the creative direction of Pelagia Kolotouros, Lacoste's creative director.

Mackintosh, presented as the inventor of the very first waterproof garment, is known for its handcrafted waterproof cotton pieces. The British brand reportedly lent its expertise to this collaboration: each piece in the collection would be made from its signature waterproof coated cotton.

The line reportedly includes a polo-poncho, a trench dress, a belted pleated skirt and a low-waisted trench coat.

The collaboration was reportedly unveiled during Lacoste's Automne-Hiver show, held at Roland-Garros, the French tennis complex. The collection would be available online and in select stores from 24 September.
