Ecco has promoted Neal Taylor, until now PDG of the Amériques region, naming him executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Ecco Global, according to information reported by FashionUnited. Since August, he has held this new position on the Danish footwear company's global executive committee, as he himself announced on Tuesday on LinkedIn.

Neal Taylor had led the Amériques region as PDG since March of last year, from Salem, New Hampshire, where he continues to work in hybrid mode. The American textile group Hanesbrands Inc was acquired roughly a year ago by the Canadian group Gildan Activewear Inc. From 2007 to 2022, he is also said to have held various management positions at Reebok.

A new product director from Dr. Martens

Besides Neal Taylor, Adam Meek joined Ecco's leadership team in August, which includes chief financial officer Marco Bossen and PDG Thomas Gøgsig. Adam Meek also announced his appointment on Tuesday on LinkedIn.

Until earlier this year, Adam Meek was product director at Dr. Martens, a position he is said to have held for more than four years. He is then said to have taken a six-month break before working as a product and brand consultant for various brands, on product strategy and the clarification of assortment structures. Before joining the British footwear company, he was general manager of the footwear and accessories divisions at Canada Goose.
