Autry has appointed Danilo Piarulli as chief executive officer. The executive has more than a decade of experience managing the growth and international development of global brands.
He joins Autry after 13 years at Golden Goose, where he held several senior positions. His career began in finance, with experience at PwC, before moving into fashion, first at Geox, then at Golden Goose, where he started as chief financial officer before focusing on business development, brand strategy and international markets.
Growth that needs structuring
Style Capital acquired a majority stake in Autry in 2024. Since then, the brand has grown rapidly, reaching revenue of €150 million, driven by wholesale, an already consolidated digital presence and the development of its retail network, which currently counts 12 stores across Europe and Asia.
A statement explains that this appointment marks an important step in Autry's evolution, with the brand intending to capitalise on this international growth through a structured approach to developing direct-to-consumer sales, selective distribution, geographic expansion and brand consolidation.
Roberta Benaglia, chief executive officer of Style Capital and chairwoman of Autry, said: « C'est un choix tourné vers l'avenir, que je considère comme une évolution naturelle de notre organisation d'entreprise. »
Betting on direct-to-consumer
Autry aims to gradually develop this direct-to-consumer network by seizing new opportunities in strategic international markets, with particular focus on the États-Unis, Corée du Sud and Japon.
