Adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams revisit the brand's outdoor archives with the Virginia Watermoc, a technical sneaker designed for everyday use. The model draws inspiration from the Adidas Adventure Water Moc of the early 2000s.

According to FashionUnited UK, Pharrell Williams is said to be the creative collaborator for Adidas Originals on the Virginia line, of which the Watermoc is the latest addition. The partnership translates outdoor functionality into a contemporary lifestyle silhouette.

The sneaker was first unveiled at a beach event in Marseille, France, earlier this summer. Its release follows the Virginia Adistar Jellyfish and the Flat Earther, broadening the visual language of the line.

On the technical side, the design combines a U-throat neoprene construction, breathable mesh ventilation, reflective webbing and quick bungee lacing. A lugged rubber outsole rounds out the package, providing grip for a style intended for use beyond the trail.

The Virginia Watermoc will be available worldwide on Saturday in blue, yellow and black, priced at $140, via the Confirmed app, adidas.com/pharrell and select retailers.
