A$AP Rocky's AWGE spring 2027 show was held at Paris Fashion Week, according to Footwear News. It is said to have revealed the next chapter of his relationship with Puma, with new versions of classic silhouettes from the brand.
The collection presented included new versions of the Suede and Straycat models. The Suede '94 revives an archived version of the brand's most iconic sneaker, referencing 1990s New York urban culture. The Straycat, meanwhile, relies on rugged elements including a Vibram sole and tire-inspired traction. The runway also showed the Speedcat Wedge and the Speedcat Ballet Flat for women.
Another piece highlighted was the Mostro 3.D mule, a 3D-printed reinterpretation of the signature spiked Mostro model, whose mule version was first unveiled by Rocky and Puma in 2024. The collection was accompanied by A$AP Rocky x Puma accessories, including a bag with an oil slick finish.
A$AP Rocky has been working with Puma since October 2023, the year he joined the brand as creative director of its F1 partnership. In 2024, the duo won the Collaboration of the Year award at the Footwear News Achievement Awards. Asked about his inspirations, the artist said that Rihanna « m'inspire beaucoup » (inspires him greatly), before adding, on his influence over the industry: « Même les marques qui ne m'ont toujours pas payé, j'influence tout votre truc, tout votre catalogue. Je suis sur votre mood board. Parlez-en. »
This fourth AWGE collection coincided with the Paris stop of his « Don't Be Dumb » tour at the Accor Arena, where Rocky wore his new Puma styles.
