Silab would have renewed its Platinum status with the EcoVadis rating platform, for the fifth consecutive year, reports Premium Beauty News. This rating would place it among the top 1% of the world's best-rated companies in terms of social and environmental performance of supply chains. L'entreprise would also retain leader ranking, the highest distinction, on its « score carbone ».
This recognition is part of an approach that Jean-Philippe Cosson, chief executive of Silab in charge of RSE, presents as a longstanding one. « Chez Silab, nous avons ancré la RSE dans nos valeurs et dans notre ADN. Ainsi, et depuis plus de 40 ans, nous nous engageons et menons des initiatives concrètes contribuant à cette stratégie. Pour preuve, il y a quelques semaines seulement, nous lancions notre programme Actively Caring 2030, véritable plan de progrès durable pour les 5 années à venir. Cette nouvelle médaille Platinum EcoVadis conforte notre démarche sociétale toujours plus engagée, dans le respect de l'Homme et de l'environnement », he states.
Silab says it has identified nine issues relating to its activity, broken down into 47 quantitative control or improvement objectives, monitored annually. The Actively Caring 2030 programme is intended to frame this trajectory for the next five years.
