Lumson is said to have been selected by Lancôme to design and manufacture the case for its latest innovation, Absolue Longevity MD Anticipate La Crème, according to Premium Beauty News. The Italian primary packaging manufacturer would thus be behind the dressing of a product positioned within a so-called longevity skincare strategy.
The Absolue Longevity MD line was created in partnership with Timeline, based on a postbiotic named Mitopure. This highly purified form of urolithin A was designed to stimulate mitophagy, the cellular renewal process that helps recycle and rejuvenate the cell's energy generators. The line offers treatments created to reverse the visible biological age of the skin at every stage of life and erase the first signs of ageing by targeting their underlying cause.
A glass bottle designed for the formula
The product is housed in a SLIM 355 DeLuxe bottle with a capacity of 50 ml, made of high-quality glass to guarantee the integrity of the formula. Lumson describes the packaging concept as creating "un sentiment instantané de solidité et d'excellence".
The visual identity combines a glossy metallisation, in gold and white tones, with multilayer UV screen printing. Lumson explains that "le jeu des surfaces, des reflets et de leur profondeur crée un effet visuel précieux et contemporain en lien direct avec le positionnement premium de la ligne et les codes distinctifs de la marque". A custom-made cap, enhanced with UV screen printing, crowns the whole.
The Eco Purity AA355 pump, also manufactured by Lumson, completes the assembly. The Italian manufacturer thus signs both the bottle and the pump for this launch carried by Lancôme in the longevity skincare segment.
