According to Cosmetics Business, H&M Beauty is said to have appointed actress Sharvari Shailesh Wag, known as Sharvari, as its first brand ambassador in India. The actress, who made her screen debut in Bunty Aur Babli 2, will soon appear in Sooraj Barjatya's Yeh Prem Mol Liya, due for release in November.
In this role, Sharvari would lead H&M Beauty's beauty communication in the Indian market, bringing her own perspective and personal style to it. « I am incredibly excited to be H&M Beauty’s first ambassador in India », she reportedly said, adding that she has always loved beauty as a means of self-expression and feeling confident.
Tove Virding, Head of Marketing at H&M Beauty, reportedly welcomed the appointment: « We are excited to welcome Sharvari as our first-ever ambassador of H&M Beauty in India. » She is also said to have pointed to a first year for the beauty category deemed successful, on which the brand now intends to build.
